From 2 to 4

What an interesting weekend ! My computer decided to go on a hooky and shut down 5 of the 6 sata ports, burn 2 of the 4 memory chips and created memory havoc on the hard drive. But though many died, there was still a remnant remaining in the previous computer and i manage to salvage many parts. Needless to say it was a tedious weekend trying to fix the "old boy". I would have more luck making my housemate Kris do a belly dance. Anyway send it to the pros to get it sorted out and now its a new and improve - Quad Core, 4 gig processor.

Though the exterior did not change the inside was totally transformed. Like they say "Men looks on the outward appearance but the wise IT people looks on the inside." It took me a couple of days to load the softwares test the drivers and update those that needs updating.

But 1 lesson learned - Never leaver your computer on, during a heavy thunderstorm.
