As I am planning to start a food club and do some restaurant crawl. I thought it best that we can start the first initiation by going to this Food and Wine Festival. Of course, its not so much food but the wines, that are most attractive.
This is a good festival to discover new and unexplored vineyards. It was here i discovered Woodland wines, which was a great find because we managed to buy a carton of their best release, before the price shot up after great comments from James Halliday. The bottle we bought was a steal at the pre-released price
If you love wine and love food, this is a place to sample them. They also have wine shows we can attend and book, where they teach about wine. So we are planning to visit the show again to do some sampling and hopefully buy some good ones for my collection
If anyone is interested, please let me know if there is more than 10 people going we can get group discount. We will probably go on Sat as i suppose its the best time to go.
