The biggest Story in my Country

Been following this story since it began. for those who did not know, this is the first case ever in Singapore that a suspected terrorist escaped while in custody. The last time i went back, i was told of some theories that was behind his apparent escape. The mystery really deepens, as up till know despite a huge manhunt, we are still unable to find him, even though he has a limp.

His escape is the stuff of movies, maybe my brother Kris can do a movie on this


Here are some interesting fact

1. Mas Selamat has a limp and could not run fast

2. The windows to the ground was quite high and small

3. Mas selamat was wearing 2 clothes during his escape, one he threw over the toilet door to mislead the guards standing outside

4. The CCTV was apparently not working on the day

5. He scaled 2 fences .... and ran into the dense jungle

6. He is a master of disguise and may have already escape to Johor

7. His escape was done in less than 10 minutes despite his limp

8. No one in the place saw his escape

What a story..... this will definitely make a good movie ... there is 2 theories currently in place
Either he really did escape or he died during interrogation and this was all a cover-up

Some have called for the minister in charge of Home Affairs to step down but in Singapore point of view we cannot fire people just because something happen, but unfortunately someone still got to take the rap, so guess what, the report just came out which i had posted earlier.

So in conclusion, stuff like do happen to very efficient Singapore.
