Finally decided !!!

After 1 week of searching, I have decided to go with this template. It will still need time to work out the kinks and get this runnning.. But yes i am excited. I can finally put up some nice stuff..

Revamping my blog

I talked about it for a long time, and since i have some spare time, I have decided to update my blog and split my blog between Food and Restaurant review, as well as daily rant and my baby girl CTB.

I hope to review more restaurants in the near future and recommend some good ones to people.

Hippo Creek Restaurant

Sunday we celebrated our friend Vivien and Kelly's birthday which we decided to eat at Hippo Creek.

And to say that we were all hungry was an understatement. We arrived at 6.30, which we were the earliest due to some mis-communication.

So we decided to be ambitious, and try the 1kg steak....now you will understand why Aussie's are so big size


This is Hunter's Asahghi ( i think that is how it was spelt) 500g go Rump steak flamed grilled with peri peri butter.





This was my 1kg Ribeye steak... ok, seriously it was huge !





This is 1kg of T-bone steak

The food was not bad, not out of the world nice, but, I love the mushroom sauce. Otherwise, its just your typical steak.

If you can finish 1kg of steak you can put your photo in the hall of fame in their restaurant. mmmmm..... give it a go

House delay again...

20 cm .... thats it. 20 cm of deviation and we get this long dealy to sort it out. The draftman at Content living must be doing a slow and fine job.

Its already 2 weeks and still in final drafting. Man these draftees are so slow.

Its really a paradox of name.. " Content living " . Mmmm they are content about living i suppose.

So slow... i should keep calling and calling them until they get the plans finalise.

Adam Lambert memtor on American idol

Oh yes !! its tom !! I am surprise they ask him to mentor. They must really think very highly of him. My dad actually thinks he is going to be as big as Michael Jackson.

He is actually the 1st idol alum to be asked back.. to mentor. no other super stars like david cook, kelly clarkson, carrie underwood, was asked. This must be something, and the funny thing he did not even win idol, while Kris got to only sing.

But i cannot blame them, Mr Simon the meanie even gave him a standing "O", somethign he never did in his past 9 seasons. So this week will really be a good weak.

Christabelle's First birthday

One year has past and she is finally one years old. The birthday was a really big affair with all the family members coming to celebrate for her. Grandparents, uncle, aunties and the whole big clan. The party held at the park was really nice, we got the elmo cakes from AJ cake shop and yes i made all the other food. Satay, grilled scotch, fried rice, soup, salad and sausages.

I am going to post some photos later.... as i am using the laptop which do not hold the photos.
