Hippo Creek Restaurant

Sunday we celebrated our friend Vivien and Kelly's birthday which we decided to eat at Hippo Creek.

And to say that we were all hungry was an understatement. We arrived at 6.30, which we were the earliest due to some mis-communication.

So we decided to be ambitious, and try the 1kg steak....now you will understand why Aussie's are so big size


This is Hunter's Asahghi ( i think that is how it was spelt) 500g go Rump steak flamed grilled with peri peri butter.





This was my 1kg Ribeye steak... ok, seriously it was huge !





This is 1kg of T-bone steak

The food was not bad, not out of the world nice, but, I love the mushroom sauce. Otherwise, its just your typical steak.

If you can finish 1kg of steak you can put your photo in the hall of fame in their restaurant. mmmmm..... give it a go
