Perth best of the best

Here is the list of the 2009 winner of perth restaurant. I wont judge the Western Restaurant but I think, many times when the Australians pick the best asian restaurant, they are often too westernised for the asian taste bud. My theory is simple, if you see more westerners eating at the restarant, then its not really worth it to go. I went to tey the food at Melbourne supposedly famed Thai restaurant and it was just too westerised.

But since we are here in Perth, we should see what Perth has got to offer...

Nahm Thai - this is a new restaurant

Dusit Thai - Dusit is not bad... they have some nice dishes... they have some really nice thai dishes
Sala Thai, Claremont - very standard actually, went there once and never again
Thai Corner - Went there a number of times, it pretty standard as well, but for some really
Saowanee's Place - They have some very nice dishes.. this would be a nice place to eat

Chinese Restaurant

Winner
Aquarium - Expensive... and so so just nice ambience

Finalists
Yu - Been there once, its was reasonably good, ate their set menu.. which was lovely

Grand Palace - I must try this, have never been there before. It must be really expensive
Golden Century - Ate here once and it was nice, they have nice seafood.
